This beautiful fabric was given by LilyJoy's Auntie-- my sister (she prefers to be called "Auntie"). My sister has the most amazing ability with quilting. She makes art quilts that are stunning. I watched her use this particular fabric in one of her more recent quilts with a kind of Asian feel to it. It was the water upon which she appliqued some gorgeous water lilies sitting in the rain. Under the water, she added some koi fish. You really have to see it in person to appreciate it, but wow! Thanks, Kari!
